Seeing God’s paintings in the sky are my love language… He truly is the best artist.

There’s an inexplicable thrill in waking up at 5 am to catch a sunrise at the beach. Throwing on a swimsuit and sweatpants and speeding to parallel park and sprint down the walkover to the sand toting my camera bag and duvet. I lay on the sand eager for the sun to come up and for the color show to start. My breath is blown away every morning that I wake up and catch the sunrise, and the adrenaline rush is like no other. Sunset is no different story… usually I’ll be at the beach all day and finishing my adventure with a picnic or end of day swim and I’ll look up in anticipation of the sky turning to fire. Sometimes, though, I’m at home and will notice from my living room, the way the travertine tiles on my patio are lit up… I cannot see the sky from where I sit inside, but I can tell that the sky is lit up beautifully by the way the light hits the tile. I immediately sprint outside filled with wild wonder, as I swing my camera around my neck and shout with joy that can’t be contained! Sunrises and sunsets are my love language and between Palm Beach Florida, Moab Utah, The Grand Canyon, Nantucket and Seaside, I was lucky enough to see so many stunning shows that moved me to tears. God’s paintings are simply breath taking and remind me of the glory of his creation and how good He is!
